Nepalconsult has a history that dates back over a quarter of a century to 1972 and is one of the pioneering engineering firms in Nepal. The firm is a Private Limited Company, duly registered with His Majesty's Government of Nepal to render consultancy services to the government, private and public sectors in planning, designing and implementing engineering projects for the development of the nation. Nepalconsult’s office is based in Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal. As per the nature of the jobs, additional project offices or branch offices are established in other cities and development regions as well. At present, Nepalconsult is managed and operated by three Founding Directors and two Technical Directors with the Managing Director as the head of the company duly supported by 50 permanent technical and administrative employees and over 100 part-time resource personnel.
Nepalconsult maintains close relations with many international consulting firms with experiences in specific areas of interest not available in Nepal.
Nepalconsult also has enjoyed excellent working relationship with in-country and international clients including major donors / development assistance institutions, regional development banks, foreign government agencies, and private sector organizations such as the World Bank, Asian Development Bank, UNDP, JICA, GTZ, USAID, UNICEF, DANIDA, SDC, CIDA, SFD, DFID, PLAN International, WHO and EEC.
